You made me feel like I was there at the accident. I almost cried. The first presentation you did I cried. You influenced me and I totally believe you!
Good luck on your mission!

Dear Mr. Lapete,
The talk really got me thinking. It made me realize that anything can happen to you at anytime. You showed us what could happen after drinking & driving and taught me a very good lesson.

Dear Mr. Lapete,
Not many people go through that kind of accident and survive. The people who do survive usually won't struggle to live. It is one thing if you live, but it is another to talk about it and share it with the world. Thank you for what you did it really touched my heart.

Dear Mr. Lapete,
When you came to our school today I honestly thought that it would be boring. I thought “just another adult who must tell us the difference between right and wrong.” I
didn't know how wrong I was! You were very brave for telling us your story, reading your poem, and even singing to us!
Making us see the outcomes of drink driving while still making us laugh was great. The “PGS” (pretty girl syndrome) remarks were especially funny.
I hope that sometime you’ll return to our school. You have taught my peers and me a lot. I will carry your advice with me at all times.
Thank you,
Andrew (8th grade)
